Idly Express – Almaden exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment our food arrived, it was clear that quality and authenticity are top priorities. The idlis were exceptionally soft and fresh, the chutneys were rich and flavorful, and the sambar had the comforting taste of a traditional homemade South Indian meal. The filter coffee was perfectly brewed and provided a wonderful finish to the dining experience. What truly made our visit memorable was the outstanding service from Ibrahim Ahmed. He greeted us with genuine warmth, was attentive throughout our meal, and offered thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be excellent. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made us feel valued as guests. Had a wonderful experience at Idly Express - Almaden. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The idlis were soft and perfectly prepared, the chutneys were delicious, and the sambar tasted just like homemade South Indian comfort food. The filter coffee was the perfect way to round off the meal. A special thanks to Ibrahim Ahmed for his exceptional service. He was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. His recommendations were excellent, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. This is my go to place for coffee any day. Food is amazing and best part is that they add different varieties every few days.. always feel like trying something new. To top it all I love the friendly smiling faces and service. Shout out to Ahmed bhai for always greeting with a smile and remembering my regular order. This gives a very local mom and pop joint feeling where they know you and make sure you have a great day.

We come to Idly Express very often and genuinely love this place. The food is traditional South Indian, always fresh, and feels healthy and comforting. Pure vegetarian! You can tell they take cleanliness and quality seriously. The customer service is consistently good. Ahmed was welcoming and very helpful, which made the experience even better. The food is what keeps us coming back soft idlis, flavorful sambar, and fresh chutneys that taste authentic and homemade. The atmosphere is simple and traditional, with a calm aesthetic that fits the food and culture well. Whether you’re familiar with South Indian food or trying it for the first time, this is a great place to come. We highly recommend Idly Express and will definitely keep coming back. Easy 5 stars.

The South Indian food is excellent. fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The dosas and chutneys are especially good. A special mention to Ahmed, who makes an outstanding filter coffee. It was rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to finish the meal. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine.
